I picked this up as a soon to be replacement for my Benefit Triple Performing Facial Emulsion SPF 15 PA++ - it's almost done and I wanted to try something new. I also picked this up because it's in a much more travel suitable package - a plastic squeeze tube as opposed to a glass pump bottle - October starts my fall travel plans, a long weekend in Las Vegas, a few days in my home away from home San Francisco and Hawaii for Thanksgiving.
I picked this up because I'm sort of going on this Origins binge and I had finished my Kate Somerville Total Vitamin Antioxidant Face Serum. I like the texture of this one a lot because it has a bit of a silicone consistency, it feels like it adds moisture to my skin without leaving me oily.
I picked this up when I returned the Glam Glow SuperMud Clearing Treatment - I wasn't seeing the effects I though I should be for a $69 product. We're in the middle of a heat wave here in sunny Southern California, so I feel like my pores have just been looking huge and gross. This mask has really helped minimize the look by tightening, and sucking out the dirt.
By the middle of the week I feel like I look like I don't get any sleep, regardless of the six to eight hours I do get a night. So I really like this because it lightly tightens up the area around my eyes and I don't need to pile on as much brightening concealer.
I bought this after I finally finished my Clinique All About Eyes Serum De-Puffing Eye Massage. It's a thicker consistency with a roll on, I have a sinking suspicion that this and the Cooling Mask might be the same thing. Oh well. Love this stuff, does exactly what it's meant to do.
Toni & Guy Sea Salt Texturing Spray
It has been about a month since I finished Bumble & Bumble Surf Spray, I just could not decide on a new beach spray to pick up. Then I happened upon this at Target and decided to get it - and am I happy! I'm actually going to do a separate post on how much I love this product!
Just like with the No Puffery Cooling Mask, this is another mid-week go to. Instead of trying to suck the dirt out of my pores, I like this mask because it focuses on brightening and exfoliating.
This is a limited edition holiday palette from Tarte and I am in love! As soon as I saw this online I new it has to be mine! It comes with a cute "leather" cuff with a gold metal bow on it - not necessarily my style so I gave it to my cousin. This palette will be coming with my on all of my travels because not only does it have a great range of color choices but it also has a bronzer in it.
Glam Glow BrightMud Eye Treatment
I cannot tell you how much I love this stuff! Definitely worth it's steep price tag! But, to make it last longer, instead of using both pods for both eyes, I use only one pod for both eyes. So instead of only 12 uses, I'm getting 24! Which makes the price a bit more bearable (12 uses for $5.75 each vs. 24 uses for $2.88 each). This not only brightens up my eye area but makes my fine lines under my eyes practically disappear!
